Patna | 12 August 2025 – Professor Samrendra Narayan Arya, a distinguished Sanskrit poet, is renowned for his deep devotion to literature. His writings reflect a vibrant enthusiasm for life and a commitment to the welfare of society. These observations were made on Monday by Dr. Anil Sulabh during a book release ceremony organized at the Bihar Hindi Literature Conference on the birth anniversary of poet Gopal Singh Nepali.
The event’s chief guest, former Patna High Court judge Justice Rajendra Prasad, released three of Prof. Arya’s poetry collections — Maa Ka Amrit (The Nectar of Mother), Pehchano Apni Shakti Prabal (Recognize Your Strong Power), and Sanskrit-Kavya Guru Shatakam (Hundred Verses of the Sanskrit Poetry Master).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sulabh described Gopal Singh Nepali as a lyricist whose words were so powerful that even China’s leadership and military feared him. During the India–China war, his celebrated poem Himalaya Ne Pukara (The Himalaya Called) inspired and energized both the Indian people and the Indian Army.
Justice Rajendra Prasad lauded Prof. Arya’s commitment to literature, stating that he writes with both heart and soul.
