Patna: 13 August 2023 :: The Training and Placement Department of Indian Institute of Technology Patna organized a two-day workshop on personality development and leadership skills at IIT Patna campus. The workshop was formally inaugurated by giving bouquets to the guests.
Training and Placement Officer, IIT Patna, Kripa Shankar Singh said that “the objective of this workshop is to speed up the preparation for the upcoming placement season and to boost the confidence of the students”.
The two day workshop focused on redefining aptitude, interview techniques, communication skills, group discussions and how we can prepare ourselves for future opportunities and their challenges. The workshop also laid great emphasis on self-confidence and character building as MNCs today are highly influenced by the strong self-confidence and strong character of the students and this helps them to achieve success in this era of cut-throat competition.
Anurag Sharma from Mumbai played a very effective role as a resource person in conducting this skill development workshop. On this occasion, Dr. Ashwani Assam, Professor In- charge, Training and Placement Cell, said that in today’s fast changing technology driven environment, there is a dire need for systematic training and this training will prove to be the ladder of success for the students.
Gautam Prakash, Amit Kumar Singh and Rakesh Kumar made concerted efforts to run this workshop smoothly. This workshop was organized for B.Tech, M.Tech and M.Sc final year and pre-final year students of Indian Institute of Technology. The students highly appreciated this initiative of IIT Patna and said that this training program was very effective for our career building and the four sessions of training cleared many of our doubts.
