Munger | July 22, 2025: The “Shravani Dance Festival – 2025” was successfully organized at Nisha Onkar Kala Kunj, Munger in collaboration with the GreenEvon Foundation, an organization actively working in the field of environmental protection and holistic health.

The event was inaugurated with a traditional lamp -lighting ceremony by the chief guests: Rita Raj, State General Secretary (JD(U) Women’s Wing), along with Manjula Shukla, Alisha Tiwari, Sangeeta Giri, and officials of the host organization—President Nisha Rani Mishra, Secretary Ritesh Mishra, and Treasurer Nibha Kumari.

The vibrant cultural evening was adorned with classical and folk dance performances by young and talented artists. Sneha Kumari mesmerized the audience with her graceful performance on traditional Kajri songs like “Kaise Khele Jebu Saawan Mein Kajariya Badariya Ghir Aayi Nanadi” and “Chudi Bhi Zid Pe Aayi Hai, Payal Ne Shor Machaaya Hai, Ab Toh Aa Ja Pardesi, Saawan Ka Mahina Aaya Hai”.

Another outstanding performance came from Jigyasa, who delivered a soulful expression through her dance on “Barso Re Megha Barso” and “Lagi Lagan Shankar”. Her emotive moves left the audience spellbound. The crowd also rejoiced in foot-tapping numbers like “Chudi Maza Na Dega, Kangan Maza Na Dega, Tere Bina Saajan Saawan Maza Na Dega”, performed by various participants.

A special highlight of the evening was Manishika Raj, who added a devotional touch by presenting Murli Vadan (flute playing) during her dance on the song “Saawan Ka Mahina Pawan Kare Shor”, truly enhancing the spiritual and festive mood.

In the dance competition:

Sneha Kumari secured the first prize,

Jigyasa bagged the second prize, and

Ragini won the third prize.

Over two dozen artists including Rani, Anushka, and others enthusiastically participated in the event. The grand finale featured a vibrant group dance on the peppy song “Chak Dhoom Dhoom, Ghode Jaisi Chaal, Haathi Jaisi Doom, Saawan Mein Yun Kahan Se Aaye Tum”, which got the entire audience dancing along.

On this occasion, all the participants were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by GreenEvon Foundation for their cultural contribution and in support of the Foundation’s ongoing mission in the fields of environmental conservation and yoga awareness.

The media partner for the event was Hind Chakra, and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by the Foundation’s Production Manager, Rupesh Mishra.
