Patna: 24 August 2025 :: Patna witnessed a historic moment as Lets Inspire Bihar successfully hosted the Start- Up Summit 2025 at Ravindra Bhavan, drawing more than 4,000 participants from across India and abroad, far beyond the venue’s capacity.

The summit was inaugurated by Bihar’s Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Samrat Choudhary, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the need for start-ups and entrepreneurship to drive Bihar’s development, while also outlining the state government’s future plans to support innovation and enterprise.
The event brought together a diverse gathering of angel investors, start-up founders, young leaders, entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, and women trailblazers from all districts of Bihar and multiple countries. Participants described the Deputy CM’s guidance as “inspirational” and a catalyst for Bihar’s entrepreneurial revolution.

A major highlight was the felicitation of 21 start-ups with the Bihar Udyamita Samman for generating over 100 jobs or showcasing strong future potential. Each of these ventures received recognition for their role in employment creation and innovation. Additionally, Shubhang, founder of Dropptie, announced a funding commitment of ₹21 lakh each for 21 selected start-ups following pitch deck presentations.
The summit featured four panel discussions with national and international experts, covering diverse aspects of entrepreneurship and start-up growth.
Another landmark moment was the unveiling of the Bihar @ 2047 Vision Document (Draft), presenting a roadmap for Bihar’s development. Citizens have been invited to provide feedback through the official website. The document will be finalized at the upcoming Bihar @ 2047 Vision Conclave in Bengaluru on 21st December 2025.
With more than 2.5 lakh members already associated, Lets Inspire Bihar has emerged as the largest social movement for Bihar’s development, now directly engaging over 600 start-ups after the summit.
Vikas Vaibhav expressed optimism that the movement will one day witness a Start- Up Summit at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, filled with lakhs of entrepreneurs and start-up enthusiasts, symbolizing Bihar’s rise as a hub of innovation.
