IIT Patna and Expedien eSolutions have signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly research, develop, and commercialize next-generation India-made technology products and platforms. The MoU was signed by Prof. T. N. Singh, Director, IIT Patna, and Shri Ashish Dwivedi, Managing Director, Expedien eSolutions, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership focused on innovation, research, and technology-led nation building.
The collaboration was made possible through the efforts of Dr. Satendra Kumar and Dr. Asif Ekbal of IIT Patna, who helped conceptualize the partnership based on successful past collaborations, mutual trust, and strong institutional synergy.The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Subrata Hait, Associate Dean (PG), Shri Vijay Kumar, Deputy Registrar (Academics), Shri Vinod Sharma – Vice President, Shri Chandresh Singh, Finance Head, Expedien eSolutions, and other officials from both institutions.
On the occasion, Prof. T. N. Singh, Director, IIT Patna, said, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing innovation and contributing to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047. Shri Ashish Dwivedi said the collaboration aims to transform cutting-edge research into practical technology solutions, adding that India has the capability to build its own technological future.
The partnership will focus on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Platforms, Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and Networking & Communication Solutions, combining IIT Patna’s research excellence with Expedien’s industry expertise.
