Bhubaneswar, November 6, 2025 :: Xavier Institute of Management, XIM University, Bhubaneswar, celebrated its Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur at the Old Campus, Bhubaneswar, on November 6, 2025. The occasion served as a proud reminder of the University’s illustrious legacy, its ongoing journey of excellence, and its steadfast commitment to shaping future leaders through quality education and research.The highlight of the celebration was a special address by Mr. Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman of the Ambuja Neotia Group and recipient of the Padma Shri (1999) for his contributions to social development. A pioneering entrepreneur, Neotia is also the founder of Bengal Ambuja Housing Development Limited, a landmark joint sector initiative with the Government of West Bengal, established to promote affordable urban housing. His acclaimed project Udayan was recognized by the Government of India as a Model Housing Project.In his inspiring address, Neotia applauded India’s impressive progress in economic growth, infrastructure, digital innovation, and global positioning. While acknowledging contemporary challenges such as inequality, technological disruption, and geopolitical tensions, he encouraged the youth to face the future with integrity, passion, curiosity, discipline, and humility. He added, “If you find passion in what you do, the chance of success is much higher.”The ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries including Rajive Kaul, Fr. Jerome Cutinha, S.J., Dr. Fr. K.S. Casimir, S.J., Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. S. Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar, Rev. Fr. V. Arokiyadass, S.J., Chief Finance Officer, along with board members, faculty, staff, and students of the University.As a mark of honor and recognition, Harshavardhan Neotia was conferred the Honorary Doctoral Degree in Business Management for his exemplary leadership and invaluable contribution to industry and society. The recognition underscored XIM University’s deep-rooted ties with industry and its mission to nurture socially responsible leaders dedicated to nation-building.The event also included a felicitation ceremony, where five long-serving employees were honored for their dedicated and meritorious service to the institution.The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Fr.
