Patna : In the minds of the common people, it has been a misconception regarding the Janata Party that it has almost died. But the reality it is quite different from what people have thought . The reality is that even in the Lok Sabha elections, the party fielded its representative in several states. Even in the Bihar Assembly elections, more than 70 candidates tried their luck. These things were said by the national president of Janata Party at a meeting held at Youth Hostel, Patna on 20 December. He further said that the Janata Party, which was formed by Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan, is one of the memorable party and about 16 parties have formed out of this party and are running in the country today . He furtger stated that Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan’s original party is “Janata Party” and this party was formed for the representation of the people. To fulfill the objective with which Loknayak formed the party, the work has to be resumed from the ground level, so that the dream of Loknayak can be fulfilled. On the occasion, Nashad Khan, Bihar Pradesh President, Janata Party, told in the meeting that the National President, Mohan Kumar, a candidate contesting elections from Arwal Assembly on Janata Party ticket, got Bihar spokesperson and Independent candidate of Bankipur Assembly, Prabhash Chandra Sharma. The cell is nominated in charge. On the occasion, the party’s National Principal Secretary, Raj Kapoor Prasad Yadav alias Raj Kishore Yadavendu also presented his views. Jitendra Kumar Sinha (Hind Chakra), Alok Sharma (Navatpur), Mukesh Kumar Sinha (Punaichak), Dhruv Kumar (President, IFWJ) and Madhukar Ji (Danapur) were the prominent journalists besides the prominent people at the meeting.
