International Astro, Vastu & Tantra Conference–2026, Patna: Jyotirvid Pandit Avadhesh Jha Honored with ‘Aryabhata Award’ and ‘Patan Devi Award’

Patna, April 7, 2026 :: During the three-day “International Astro, Vastu & Tantra Conference–2026” held in the historic capital of Bihar, Patna, renowned astrologer Pandit Abdhesh Jha, Founder of Shrihari Jyotish Kendra, Patna, was honored with the prestigious ‘Aryabhata Award’ and ‘Patan Devi Award’ for his outstanding contribution to astrology and Vedic sciences. On this occasion, he also presented his views on the topic “Astrology: The Science of the Cosmic Time Cycle (Brahman)”.

The awards were conferred by Dr. Lokraj Paudel, President of the World Astro Federation; Acharya Dr. Ashok Kumar Mishra, Conference Convenor; Shri Ram Pravesh “Puri”; and Shri Lalit Kishore, Senior Advocate of Patna High Court and former Advocate General of Bihar, in the esteemed presence of other distinguished dignitaries and scholars.
It is noteworthy that the three-day international conference was organized under the joint aegis of the World Astro Federation, South Asian Astro-Federation, and Astro, Vastu & Vedic Sciences Hub. The event witnessed participation from astrologers, vastu experts, tantra scholars, researchers, and eminent personalities from India, Nepal, and several other countries.

During the conference, in-depth deliberations were held on astrology and tantra, along with research paper presentations and the sharing of scholarly insights. The relevance of Vedic sciences in the modern era was also discussed, culminating in the release of the “Patna Declaration.”

On the third day of the conference, under the leadership of Convenor Acharya Dr. Ashok Kumar Mishra, participants from India and abroad were taken on a tour of prominent religious and cultural sites in Patna.
Addressing the gathering, organizing committee member Pandit Abdhesh Jha stated that the primary objective of the conference is to promote unity in Vedic sciences, encourage ethical traditions, strengthen research, and enhance cultural and spiritual tourism among India, Nepal, and other nations.

The honor bestowed upon Pandit Abdhesh Jha is being seen not only as a personal achievement but also as a proud moment for the rich Vedic and astrological heritage of Mithila, Patna, and the state of Bihar.
