Patna : 23 April 2023 :: IIT Patna has implemented National Education Policy (NEP -2020) to open an alternative option for ENTRY to avail world-class quality education in industry- oriented market -driven academic programs awarding UG Degree in Computer Science & Data Analytics (CSDA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
The new programs aim to impart quality training at the Undergraduate (UG) Degree level covering industry -needed skills and competency to meet the requirements of dynamic demand of the industry comprising technology, Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, Programming, Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and IT enabled skills for accounting and finance, business management, economics, organizational behaviour and human resource management, marketing, logistics, and supply chain management.
Keeping the National Education Policy (NEP- 2020) recommendations in mind, these academic programs cater to the need of school pass-outs, who have qualified JEE (Advanced/Main) NEET, CUET, BITSAT, KVPY/ NTSE, INSPIRE scholarship holders, State Entrance Examinations, etc, seeking career growth at the undergraduate level with quality professional education. The modular curriculum is equally useful for young working professionals to accelerate their career growth & stay updated with the dynamic demands of the Industry.
The BSc. 10 + 2 in Science Streams with a minimum of 60% (cumulative) & any one of the following: Valid score/rank in National/State Level Entrance (i.e., JEE (Advanced/Main), NEET, CUET, BITSAT, KVPY/NTSE/INSPIRE scholarship holders, State Entrance Examinations) OR
Valid score in International Entrance Test; US (SAT-I/SAT-II), UK(BMAT) OR
IITP -SAT entrance test followed by virtual interview
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) 10 + 2 with a minimum of 60% (cumulative) and any one of the following:
Valid score/rank in National/State Level Entrance (i.e., JEE (Advanced/Main), NEET, CUET, BITSAT, KVPY/NTSE/INSPIRE scholarship holders, State Entrance Examinations) OR
Valid score in International Entrance Test; US (SAT-I/SAT-II), UK(BMAT) OR C . IITP -SAT entrance test followed by virtual interview
The registration will open 23 April onwards and semester will start on 1st august 2023.
