November 17 : According to information received from sources, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has done the   division of departments among his ministers: –
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar: – Home Department, General Administration Department, Monitoring Department
and all such departments which are not allotted to anyone. Deputy Chief Minister, Tarkishore Prasad: – Finance Department, Commercial Tax Department, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, Information Technology Department, Disaster Management Department, Urban Development and Housing Department. Deputy Chief Minister, Renu Devi: – Panchayati Raj Department, Industries Department, Backward Classes and Backward Classes Welfare Department. Minister, Vijay Chaudhary: – Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Water Resources Department, Information and Public Relations Department.
Minister, Bijendra Yadav: – Energy Department, Madd Prohibition, Products and Registration Department, Planning and Development Department, Food and Consumer Protection Department. Minister, Mangal Pandey: – Health Department, Road Construction Department, Arts, Culture and Youth Department. Minister, Santosh Manjhi: – Small Water Resources Department and SC / ST Welfare Department. Minister, Mukesh Sahni: – Department of Animal and Fisheries Resources. Minister, Mevalal Chaudhary: – Education Department. Minister, Rampreet Paswan: – Public Health Engineering Department.
Minister, Ram Sundar Rai: – Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Law Department. Minister, Jeevesh Kumar: – Tourism Department, Labor Resources Department, Mines and Geology Department. Minister, Amarendra Pratap Singh: – Department of Agriculture, Cooperative Department, Sugarcane Development Department. Minister, Sheela Kumari: – Transport Department. It is noteworthy that Nitish Kumar took oath on Monday along with 14 ministers including two Deputy Chief Ministers at Raj Bhavan, Patna. After swearing in, the Chief Minister had called a Council of Ministers meeting on Tuesday at 11.30 am. In the meeting, two documents of the Department of Parliamentary Affairs, namely, the first session of the newly constituted Saptadash Bihar Legislative Assembly and the 196th session of the Bihar Legislative Council and the first session of the Saptadash Bihar Legislative Assembly and the 196th session of the Bihar Legislative Council at the beginning of both houses. The simultaneous session was approved to approve the draft of the address of His Excellency the Governor and authorize the Chief Minister.
