Patna: 12 August 2021:: This year festival of Rakhi is on 22.08.2021 (Sunday). In order to make it easy for customers to book their Rakhi mails and to ensure delivery of such Rakhi mails on time, special arrangements have been made by Bihar Postal Circle. Keeping in view the difficulties of working professionals/Couples to book their Rakhi mail or receive the Rakhi mails deliverable to him in day time, the arrangements for Late night booking and Late night delivery of Rakhi mails have been made from selected Post Offices which are selected in such a way to cover the various part/area of Patna city. Few Post Offices identified for providing postal services on all days even on Sunday for the convenience of people. Besides, some Mobile Post Office will also function till the Rakhi festival which will collect/booked Rakhi mails from the Door-step so that people will not have to go to any Post Office. On the eve of “Rakhi festival” brothers/Sisters use to send the gifts to each other. Now-a-days, the gift items are usually ordered from the e – Commerce sites. Hence, late night delivery of e – Commerce products from identified Post Offices is also arranged for timely delivery of gift items.
