Patna: IIT Patna elated to share exciting news about Basic, the startup founded by 3rd B.Tech students of IIT Patna – Rohan Choudhary, Parth Choudhari, Athrava Pachundkar, and Yash Gautam. Basic has been shortlisted as a finalist in Youth Co:Lab 2022-23, a program co-created by UNDP in Asia and the Pacific and Citi Foundation to support youth-led social innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

The nomination of Basic, for Youth Co:Lab is for #WaterIsBasic, which uses everyday items like water bottles built from sustainable packaging as a platform for advertising, making it easier for companies to reach hard-to-reach audiences. As a sustainable marketing solution, Basic is excited to be recognized by Youth Co:Lab and to have the opportunity to connect with mentors, investors, and government officials.

The Institute takes pride in this stupendous achievement of the students and wishes them all the very best.
